When a Practice Grows, Accounting Gets Harder to Manage

  • You’re still supervising accounting. The owner or practice manager answers questions and follows up on unfinished tasks.

  • Collections aren’t profitability. Revenue alone doesn’t show what remains after staff costs, supplies, rent, and other expenses.

  • Reports arrive too late. Without dependable monthly statements, it’s harder to plan and make informed decisions.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you handle medical billing or insurance claims?

We don’t handle medical billing or insurance claims directly, but we can work alongside your billing team or third-party billing provider to ensure payments, deposits, and related financial activity are accurately recorded in your accounting system.

Can you work with our practice manager?

Absolutely! During implementation, we’ll work with you to understand your team’s roles and responsibilities. From there, we’ll coordinate directly with your practice manager and administrative staff to keep things running smoothly and ensure everyone is on the same page.

Can you help us understand profitability?

Yes! We provide clear, accurate financial reporting to help you understand where your money is going and how your practice is performing. We can help you evaluate expenses, identify trends, and better understand profitability so you can make informed business decisions.

How do you handle HIPAA considerations?

We take the privacy and security of your patients’ information seriously. When applicable, we sign a HIPAA Business Associate Agreement (BAA) with your practice, which outlines our responsibilities for protecting any patient information we may access while providing accounting services. We also follow appropriate safeguards to protect sensitive financial and personal information and limit access to what’s necessary to perform our work.

How is pricing calculated?

By company size. Core is 1% of annual revenue per year (minimum $1,650/month) and Advanced, which covers all four areas (money in, money out, what’s ahead and what it means), is 1.5% per year (minimum $2,500/month), billed monthly. For example, a company with $5 million in annual revenue would be about $6,250/month on Advanced. Above $10 million, we quote individually. Pricing indication only; your official quote may vary with transaction volume and complexity.

Do you hold or move our money?

We never hold your money. It stays in your own accounts. We manage the work around it: preparing and scheduling bill payments, sending invoices and following up on what you’re owed. You approve. We execute. Your Controller reviews every payment.

Is the consultation free?

Yes, our initial consultation is completely free. It’s an opportunity for us to learn more about your practice, understand your accounting needs, answer your questions, and see if our services would be a good fit. No pressure and no obligation!
